This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the resources for learning how to identify how they are feeling. My students are young and are learning how to process their emotions. Which can be challenging for them.

Providing my students with multiple opportunities for them to express how the are feeling in ASL and with multiple visual props helps significantly.

I am asking for a few games that we can play in small groups or as a class, such as Moods Emotions Wooden Match-Ups and Happy or Not Board Game. Also, a daily journal where they can get to learn more about themselves and reflect. Scenario picture cards (All About Feelings Magic Board) for them to practice identifying how other people feel.
