This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are the babies of the school and what do babies love to do? PLAY! My students love coming to school and having fun! I love to find new ways for them to have fun and secretly learn at the same time!

Research shows that children learn best through play and I want to be able to provide them with the best educational toys they deserve!

Part of our routine in our class is to go to “workstations” two times a day. During this time they get to visit multiple workstations. I would love to use each of these materials, such as the Lakeshore Alphabet Cones, as workstations for my students. They will be able to practice important skills such as writing, fine motor, counting, as well as letter and number recognition all while playing!
