Learn to Read, Read to Learn!

Help me give my students books that help to make reading fun and support the new reading program we have started.

My Project

This year we have started a brand new reading program with great books for our students to read. Not only are they still learning to read, but in 3rd grade, they are now reading to learn. The program comes with some books for my library, but not enough for all of the students to pick what they want to read.

These books will make great addition to my classroom library and help students explore the topics deeper and with more meaning.

We have great topics including Frogs, Classic books like Peter Pan, and Water. To start the year, we look at books that teach about obstacles that many overcome to learn at school. They loved to see the difference between their school and what other countries do during their school day.

These books will help expose them to numerous points of view on the same topic and give them choices.
