Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have students who are significantly impaired due to their ability to clearly verbally communicate. This kit will help target specific needs for those children who struggle to verbally communicate.
My goal for this project is to use the Kaufman Apraxia therapy resources to develop vocal language skills for children who struggle to speak.
Every child needs to be able to communicate and these children struggle to be understood by teachers, peers and family.
As a speech language pathologist, I see children who have impairments with communicating, this resource is shown to help children who struggle to verbally put sounds together.
