My Project
I am requesting books that will help my students learn math in a creative way. As a result of listening to and reading The Adventures of Sir Cumference, my students will be able to associate the math concepts related to circumference to the characters in each story. This series does a great job explaining the role of the various features of a circle.
All of the materials will assist me in teaching my students in a creative way. In addition to, these books would be a great asset for my classroom library because they will be available for students to refer back to even after I have taught the concepts mathematically.
Moreover, this series encourages students to learn math through literacy, which will encourage students to read more.
My students LOVE interesting and exciting stories.
