This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Kindergarten is so magical because my students are always so eager to learn. As a kindergarten teacher, I am always looking for ways to keep my 4-6 year old students engaged in our lessons. Whiteboards are a fun, interactive way to practice our skills and get students excited about showing what they know.
Whiteboards help me see what students have mastered and what we need to practice more.
Using whiteboards will give all of my students the opportunity to participate without having to share out loud. I can also monitor student work and do quick check for understandings with them.
Having these mini whiteboards will help my students practice handwriting, phonics skills, and math skills that we are learning. Whiteboards make it easy to correct a mistake without the hassle of trying to erase with a pencil and having them mini sized are perfect for my kindergartners little hands. The dry erase markers will ensure we have an endless supply to use with our mini whiteboards.
