This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are superheroes. They have bilingual superpowers. They love to read and learn. Through reading, they can travel to the whole world. They are dreamers, energetic kids, and students with commitment and passion for everything they do. They succeed in my class, Language Arts, and they do it in the languages Spanish and English.
My students work as a team looking to succeed in all the things they need to do or complete.
I work with them and provide whole group and individualized instruction in the areas of Reading, Writing, and Social Studies. They have a block of English every day where they learn and acquire new vocabulary to expand the knowledge of this language. All the other areas are in Spanish where they improve their knowledge and show proudly.
My students are capable of being successful when skills and concepts are taught in a safe, engaging and meaningful way.
My Project
My students will be using these games and supplies to be successful on Reading and Writing. As ESL students, my students struggle with the acquisition of the English Language. These materials will help them to acquire this second language.
My kids will improve their academic performance and behavior through literacy games and new learning strategies.
To improve their performance, I always look the way to help them get to it and have fun while learning. They love when we use games and new activities to learn. As third graders, they need to use the play as an educational strategy. With your help, we will show the world how Hispanics bright and succeed.
