Learn By Doing--Hands-On Reading!

Help me give my students the hands-on reading skills they need to help them discover the enjoyment of reading!

My Project

I am a teacher of students with multiple disabilities, including students with autism and intellectual disabilities. While my students are older, they are in need of hands-on reading materials to support their visual learning styles. Your contribution will directly impact my student's need for learning by doing as they are building on their reading skills.

The idea is for them to use manipulatives as they are reading to stimulate their imagination and broaden their reading skills beyond paper and pencil activities.

Help me create fun and creative ways to engage my students in higher reading outcomes by funding our project!
