My Project
My students are in the first grade where they are learning the foundational skills of how to read and write. I want to give my students the opportunity to learn to read and write in a fun way. In order to do this, I need to teach them ways to sound out words and put together the words to make sentences. The best way to teach kids is to have them play with the knowledge they have. If they are continuing to learn in a fun way, the students might remember the skills better.
The most important part is when my students are not learning, I want to give them the ability to grow their minds and stimulate their brains.
The sensory toys are a great way to keep their brains working but in a hands-on way. The students won't even realize they are still growing their minds, they just think they are having fun!
