Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My high school students come from all different backgrounds and cultures. Every day they prove that diversity is a strength—that everyone benefits when people with different perspectives work together.
The pizza party will be held as a reward for students who have demonstrated growth throughout the school year.
The gift cards requested in this project will be used as an incentive for when students effectively use various STEM skills, and win various competitions.
Throughout the school year, students participate in various competitions, such as, Organelle Games, March Mammal Madness, and Kahoot Reviews. I hope that the gift cards are an incentive for students to further engage in the content and build a deeper understanding of the material.
