My Students
My students come to school every day full of life, ready to learn and excited to explore the world around them. Even though they are living in poverty with very little family support, I want my students to know that I believe in them and they will make a difference in our world.
I create a positive environment in my classroom by allowing my students to have a choice in their education.
The 25 students I teach work incredibly hard every day and want to know about the world. These students are working hard to create a great future.
My Project
Scholastic Magazines provide a number of skills that I can use with my students. We can work on literacy skills, collaboration skills, and also enrichment in areas of science, social studies, and current events. I can use the magazines in both small and large groups within my classroom.
By donating to my project, you will be able to give my students a chance to help create lifelong readers!
We will spend time reading and learning many new and exciting things using Scholastic magazines.
The students will gain an understanding of current events and happenings. They will use this understanding to share their knowledge with others.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
