My Project

I am a fourth-grade teacher in Newark, NJ in a culturally diverse and economically challenged neighborhood.

I hope you can help me give my students an engaging book study that will support their reading development and love of reading.

Novel studies can enhance critical thinking skills and develop a love of reading. This project will not only help my students develop their reading comprehension and thinking skills, but will also help them develop their speaking and communication skills through class and group discussions. In addition, it will also hopefully motivate students to read more novels on their own.
