Leaping to Learn with iPads

My students need iPads to help with learning centers. The iPads are a fun and interactive way to make the learning come to life besides doing the day to day worksheet.

My Students

I always try to find new and exciting ways to learn. Students today are driven by technology with the use of apps!

I teach a class of 20 third graders in a suburban community close to a military base.

I have many students who come from military families. My class is always looking for a variety of ways to learn. We can do anything from group and partner work to centers all while learning throughout the day.

My Project

My class will use the iPads to master skills in learning. There are several apps for multiplication, literacy, and interactive science that can make learning come to life instead of having to do the standard worksheet. Students are driven by technology, so I want to feed off of that to increase student learning.

Donations for the project will help improve the learning in my classroom.

The students will be engaged in their learning without realizing they are learning because they are playing an educational app on an iPad to master the skills they need to be successful students.
