Today, technology is moving by the second. It is now time that we cease the moments with our students by introducing them to the wonderful world of technology. Many of our students only have access to technology in the classroom.
Our students are smart and eager to learn.
The use of laptops and other devices breaks the monopoly of the traditional teaching. Our students get excited when they hear we may be getting more technological devices. This immediately grabs their attention because this is the language students speak today. This generation today is very tech savvy. They only know about mobile devices, social media (Facebook,MySpace and Twitter), and the Internet.
My Project
Some of our students will have an opportunity to work in small group setting on special projects, compiling materials, and have the ability to solve problems working together for the future of our lives. Students have opportunities to collaborate more, become more engaged in the lessons therefore retaining becomes a top priority.
Having a laptop helps throughout the school with other classrooms when working with other devices to complete a lesson.
The laptop can also assist with classroom projectors and whiteboards.
