My Students
We want our kids to LEAP into reading with some new leapster reading manipulative's!
My students attend a title 1 school in an urban neighborhood.
The school has a very strong sense of school pride and we celebrate students every month at a community wide assembly. The students I teach are in grades K-2. They all have different interests that set them apart and make them special. My students are all new readers and get excited about new books.
My Project
It is so important to get kids interested in reading at a young age. I can see the excitement in their eyes when my younger students first learn to read. I want donors to support my project because new books and tool will motivate and evoke my students passion to read.
