My Project

This is Year 2 of our new English Language Arts (ELA) curriculum, and we’re hopping into Module 2, an exciting, interdisciplinary unit all about frogs! In this module, my students will research frog species and their habitats, explore fascinating adaptations, and use their knowledge to write both informational essays and original pourquoi tales—creative stories that explain how frogs got their unique traits.

This unit brings together reading, science, and writing in a way that keeps students highly engaged.

They’ll be thinking like scientists and writing like authors, and they need the right books to guide and inspire their work.

I’m requesting a collection of frog-themed books that will support every part of this learning experience. This includes nonfiction for research, picture books to model storytelling, and high-interest texts that deepen background knowledge. The books will be selected to meet a variety of reading levels so every student can participate meaningfully.

Your support will help my students grow as curious readers, thoughtful researchers, and creative writers. Every book you help fund brings us closer to a classroom where science meets storytelling, and learning leaps off the page.
