This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagine being read your favorite book(s) as many times as you wanted. I want to provide my students the chance to enjoy being read to at their listening center with Leapfrog Tag Readers and books.

I have 24 wonderful kindergarten students who are busy from the moment they step in the classroom until the dismissal bell rings.

All of my students are on free lunch. They love "playing" at their centers. They love singing and dancing, which I try to fit in daily aside from calendar math time.

My Project

Having Leapfrog Tag Readers and books in our listening center will be great since it will allow them to be read to while I am working with a small group. They can explore the LeapFrog books with a partner or independently. Having the Leapfrog Tag Readers and books will bring reading to life.

While students have very little control of their day, they can at least have control over when and which book they will read with Leapfrog Tag Readers and books.
