Leap Into Learning! Let's Get Our Classroom Organized

Help me give my students a well-organized classroom with pocket charts to display vocabulary, magnetic shelves to display books, privacy desk folders to foster a distraction-free learning environment, and dry-erase packets for student work.

My Project

My student population includes many cultures and varied groups of learners in our urban community. Many students are socioeconomically disadvantaged who prosper with text-rich and visuals, to scaffold learning.

With your help, we can create a vibrant, colorful classroom displaying vocabulary and pictures to foster maximum understanding and learning with minimal distractions.

To do this, the pocket charts are a great way to post vocabulary for reading, science, and social studies in our self-contained classroom. To minimize distractions, the student desk dividers will give each student a distraction-free space for maximum success as they focus on the task at hand. Additionally, to help me display and store current books and workbooks that we use, I will set them on the magnetic whiteboard shelves to add a visual for the students to know which books they need to get out. Finally, for these beautiful learners, the dry-erase sheet protectors will minimize making copies and provide a place to practice math facts, writing compound sentences, and much more.

The tools that I have requested are focused on organization and presentation for my classroom and students. This will help maximize learning by helping students stay focused and know where to find the resources we use every day.
