This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Where would you be right now if your elementary school promoted the "Seven Habits of Happy Kids"? I'd like to be proactive, and you can help me do this.

I teach an awesome group of first grade students.

They live in a community stricken by a high level of poverty. Most of them qualify for the free or reduced food program. This however, does not hinder their excitement of learning. They are such eager children and make me love my job even more.

My Project

With the selected items, I will be able to promote the "Leader in Me" program. The shelf and organizing cart will be utilized for storage of student binders and materials with personal student goals and/or accomplishments. The laminating sheets/pouches will protect the children's school work, certificates, etc for longevity of work. All these materials will enhance the "Seven Habits of Happy Kids" that are used in our school.

By donation to this project, you will help my students to become confident children and successful learners.

They will be able to display and have easier access to their "Leader in Me" binders which stores accomplishments throughout the school year. You will help make a huge difference in my students.
