Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Presently, my students purchase bottled water as they are not very confident in the purity or safety of the New York City water supply.

With Zero Water filters, my students will not need to purchase water bottles that will ultimately end up in either a land-fill or the ever-growing island of floating garbage in the south Pacific ocean.

These filtration systems allow for ordinary tap water to be cleansed of 99.9% of all impurities, and dissolved minerals and metals such as lead, chlorine and fluorine that is typically part of urban drinking water.

With the addition of assorted teas, and coffee, they will also have access to a warm beverage as we move into the fall and winter months.

Please help me provide my students with purified drinking water and keep them lead-free.
