I teach English Language Arts for a group of eager ninth graders who are ready for innovative ways to learn.

What I'm faced with as a teacher is not having the necessary resources of technology in the classroom that will keep my group of first time high school students focused. Students this age coming from middle school need a plethora of resources to keep them engaged.

If you so graciously donate the LCD projector for my classroom my students will benefit tremendously because it will give each student the benefit of learning to operate as well as demonstrate their skills in orally presenting their work in a high tech way. The students will be able to critique each other skills through peer editing and learn an array of skills that some of the students already possess. My students will be engaged in a new way of learning their subject matter. This technology is one way to tap into students multiple intelligences and the way each one learns. This LCD projector donation will also equip my students to be able to compete successfully in a college setting if they choose to attend college. The reason for this statement is that I had to use technology such as this when I did my presentations in my university classes.

With your donation of this LCD projector will ensure that the students will be competing with other students in other districts and not be left behind due to a lack of technology resources in the classroom.
