This project will benefit a 5th grade general education class in a high needs area of Queens, New York.

In November, my 5th graders will be taking the NYS Social Studies exam. Help us journey back in time and utilize the myriad of resources the internet can provide.

We need an LCD projector to hook up to our laptops to take virtual field trip and tours of important places/events in history. This technology will also allow us to watch educational videos and PowerPoint presentations. It will also be used to enrich other subject areas such as Science, Mathematics and Literacy as well as be used to lead parent workshop to increase parental involvement in the classroom.

Please help provide students with this vital piece of technology that will help them to create real life experiences! Thank You!
