I teach Spanish I and II at a high need school in Urban Missouri. I teach 175 students that are required to take a foreign language in order to graduate. My school is focused on sending all students to college.
My students have never seen the Aztec Ruins or walked the streets of Madrid Spain, but they have the opportunity to understand the different cultures of the world every day in my Spanish class. However, with limited technology, the students are unable to really interact with the different cultures.
This LCD projector would let the students see, hear and feel the cultures throughout Latin America and Spain. I will be able to bring the classroom alive and help the students travel all around the world without leaving the classroom. My goal is to help the students be prepared for college and their careers by opening up new cultures. This LCD projector could inspire my students to dig deeper into the many different cultures of the world.
You as a donor can change the lives of my students. I want to travel with my students around the world even if we never leave the classroom. My students could benefit greatly from this LCD projector and this would be possible by your contribution.
