My Students
My school is located in a low-income neighborhood with scholars from diverse backgrounds. Nearly all scholars qualify for free school meals.
Despite socioeconomic disadvantages, our melting pot of scholars possesses a positive outlook on learning.
Each child is unique and deserves quality resources and experiences that will shape their future.
We are a Title I school however, it’s often a challenge to find funding to purchase materials and resources. Basic classroom supplies and technology are in high demand in our school, and our scholars deserve to experience high-quality education and resources.
My Project
Due to the global pandemic many of my pre k students have not been able to interact with others. I would like to create a calm and inviting environment where they feel safe to work alongside their peers.
Despite external factors my little scholars deserve academic rich materials for table top play and centers inclusive of science, writing, math, reading, dramatic play and blocks inside their classroom.
The products that I have selected will help my students giving them the materials that will encourage them to learn through play with the other students in class. The academic growth and enthusiasm I look forward to seeing is priceless.
