My Project
I teach a diverse and talented group of high school band students who are passionate about music and eager to grow as musicians. Many of them are learning the fundamentals of tone production, technique, and ensemble playing for the very first time. Despite challenges, they come to class each day ready to learn, improve, and contribute to the sound of our band.
We’re requesting a class set of Foundations for Superior Performance books for all instrument families—flute, clarinet, saxophones, trumpet, low brass, percussion, and more.
These books are essential for helping my students develop proper breathing, embouchure, finger technique, and rhythmic precision.
The method includes progressive exercises that build individual and ensemble skills, preparing our band for performances, contests, and everyday rehearsals. With these resources, students will have the structure and support needed to grow musically, build confidence, and perform at their best.
