Layers of Learning One Print at a Time

Help me give my students access to a MakerBot SKETCH Classroom with 2 x MakerBot Sketch 3D printers for their STEM program. These tools will bring science and engineering to life and create hands-on opportunities our rural school has never had.

My Project

I love how inventive and determined my students are. They are full of ideas and eager to create, but in our small rural school, their access to hands-on tools is limited. They deserve the same opportunities to explore, build, and problem solve as students in larger districts.

This MakerBot SKETCH Classroom - 2 x MakerBot Sketch - 3D printer will be the heart of our STEM program and will give students the chance to bring their ideas to life.

This is an easy to use, Dual Printer Set Up that will enable

students to design, test, and build real projects while learning to think like engineers and creators. These printers will anchor our new grades nine through twelve STEM class, giving students the tools to turn imagination into action. Innovation does not belong to big cities. Our students are sharp, creative, and more than ready to prove what they can do. These tools will bring science and engineering to life and create hands-on opportunities our rural school has never had.
