My Project

"Empower my students to explore Hawaiian history through 'Law & Aloha: Shaping Hawaii's Future History,' a podcast project fostering student agency. They'll research pivotal moments, craft interview questions, and connect with a historian to uncover the interplay of law, executive actions, and governance. From topic selection to podcast production, students lead the way, investigating Hawaii's legal and political past to understand its present and future. This hands-on project cultivates critical thinking and historical empathy.By exploring the legal and political underpinnings of Hawaii's past, students will gain a deeper meaningful, understanding.
