My Students

Have you ever experienced watching a live birth? Maybe your own child or an animal on a farm? I want to give this experience to my students using eggs and an incubator.

My students are active, energetic, encouraging and loving preschoolers.

They attend a full day preschool. There are 20 boys and girls in my classroom. Their ages range from just turned 3 to just turned 5! Most of my students receive some type of subsidized funding. Many of my student's parents are either working or going to school. My students spend a long day in school!

My Project

I am asking for an egg incubator and a chick life cycle exploration set. These resources will provide so many science activities! I have hatched eggs in the past borrowing an incubator from the farm bureau, but this year they are all being used! I thought it was high time to buy my own...until I saw how much it costs! I am hoping that many generous donors will provide these resources for my wonderful students!

This experience would be unforgettable for my students.

I know a farmer that is willing to donate eggs. Once they hatch we will take a field trip to the farm and let the chicks live on the farm! This would be such a wonderful experience for my students! They would be able to observe and explore the life cycle of a chick and then see the environment where chicks live!! Please help me provide this priceless activity for my students!
