My Students
When I step in front of my classroom at the beginning of the day and look at my students, I know that a great day awaits me. My students greet me with smiles, questions and eager faces; they are ready to learn, and I am ready to teach them all that I can.
My students are incredible, curious, adept, and capable learners.
My students speak different languages (over 19 languages at our school) and all have tremendous talent to share with each other. My students jump into their daily learning with zeal. They work together, laugh together, learn together, and share everything in their classroom community.
My Project
4th graders love to read! I want my students to have the opportunity to read funny books by famous children's authors Roald Dahl and David Walliams. These authors have created memorable and funny stories that touch the heart as well as the funny bone! My students will enjoy them in class as part of literature studies this year. The wonderful part is that my future students will also be able to enjoy these well-written stories as well!
What a joy to hear my students laugh as they read!
These interesting, funny and memorable books will help my students learn during their daily literature studies time each day. As part of their studies, students will write book reports and study the elements of storytelling from these books. Students will create pictures depicting their favorite scenes from these books and share their knowledge with their classmates.
Let's get kids laughing and loving reading through funny literature!
