I am excited to be trying this for the first time. I teach Kindergarten in a rural community. We are a title one school with limited resources.
Last year our tape player stopped working and we finished the year without the listening center. With limited funding we will not begin the year with our listening center.
We need to replace the tape player and shorted out headphones. The old equipment is outdated so if we are accepted we would love to have a CD/tape player. This way we can still utilize our old favorite tapes and look to the future since many books come on CD.
With your support my students will foster the learning and love of literature! My students are just learning to read so it is very important to get them interested in reading. I want to create life-long learners and instill the love of reading! I hope you will help me encourage every student by helping with our project.
