This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students and families at our school come from many different countries and have many different cultural backgrounds. We will be studying their cultures during the school year and having books about each country will be very helpful. Many of the students are just learning to read in English and these books are at a level that will help them to understand their heritage and increase their reading abilities in English.

These books will help them to share their culture and heritage with others and show their pride in who they are and what they have to share with our school community and the world.

Our students are unique and wonderful, and we want them to know that every single day!
