Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students will use these books to build comprehension based on their ethic culture. These books and materials will help build their preservation, and promotion to their advancement of Hispanic culture, arts and humanities.

These books represent the arts and are educational and meaningful to their local communities.

My students are all from different countries in Latino America. Some of my students were unable to attend school back home and this is their first-time attending school. I would love to be able to share with them books based on their culture. My students receive free lunch and sometimes their choices of snacks are not the healthiest. I will introduce them to a variety of snacks to make better choices. My students eat lunch early and by the end of the day they are already hungry. These snacks will help them maintain their focus and energy to finish the day!
