My Students
My students are bursting with energy and have a strong desire to grow and learn.
The majority of my students are Native American and due to the low socioeconomic area we live in, 100 percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at school.
I am aware of the challenges many of my students face and I make sure that when they walk through my classroom door, they are all given an equal opportunity to learn in a positive, encouraging environment.
My Project
Did you hate reading in school? Did you have a hard time finding books that interested you? Many of my students, especially the boys, have a hard time finding a book they want to read.
I would love the opportunity to give my students the newest books, exciting graphic novels, and the latest releases in our favorite series.
I want my students to be able to find books that they enjoy so they can continue building a life long love of reading. By giving them fun new options I hope to foster a love of books and reading that they can carry with them in the future.
