This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Boy this is a boring-- but essential-- donation for our Makerspace. Our laser cutter has been one of the most powerful tools in our Craftivism. Using the cutter we've created game pieces for our anti-marijuana games, LGBTQ+ clocks, Vape shops for our anti-nicotine animations, and much more.
Laser cutters are amazing tools, but create lots of smoke.
To combat the smoke, you attach a filter that cleans it up and provides a safe atmosphere for students. These filters lose effectiveness over time and ours is done. We'd love some help ordering a new one so we can get back to our social action!
