Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This SAMSUNG 16” Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 Business Laptop to attend professional development workshops online and in person; to further my knowledge of new teaching skills and best practices. There is always new information to learn, and the best way is to keep researching how I can develop my teaching skills to get my students ready for the world.
I would use this laptop to do research on how to teach young students coding and programming skills.
My students will be entering elementary schools to work on new skills. I am keen to learn how I can prepare to become successful.
Another way I will use this laptop is by attending college to get my teaching credential. I plan on attending National University this fall semester. The first class that I will be taking is American Sign Language. This class will prepare me to communicate with nonverbal students or students with hearing disabilities. Students will feel more included if I communicate with them in a familiar language.
