My students need laptops. I am a technology teacher and do not have enough computers in my lab for all of the students. It is extremely difficult for them to share.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students

My students come from the inner city with various backgrounds and abilities.
They are a wonderful group of students who strive to do their best every day. The school prepares our students for academic success through rigorous challenging work. We also address such concepts as individual responsibility, respect for human dignity, and equal opportunity. From kindergarten through 5th grade, the children will develop their character through our pervasive school culture.
My Project
As a technology teacher I strive to enhance the students learning and base my lessons on the concepts that are taught in the classroom. Activities range from learning proper keyboarding technique, drawing in Kid Pix, publishing stories in Microsoft Word, and, for the older students, ending the year with a Power Point Presentation.
Within the next year or so, the students in grade 3-5 will be participating in a new state test which is to be completed on the computer.
All of this is difficult to do without enough computers for all of the students. We need 2 more laptops. Students can not be successful in technology while sharing their computer with another student.
As I stated earlier my students live in the inner city.
Most of them do not have a computer at home and some are homeless. Making sure that I have enough computers to teach all students successfully is extremely important to their education.
