Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have engaged in project-based learning by creating their student-led concession stand. The following items would be used to help students keep track of inventory using spreadsheets and track their growth. The students are learning how to research their own financial strategies and they put together a proposal for items they wish to add to their store. The laptops will be used as a traveling cash register and research technology tool to assist in their learning.

Our students are excited and motivated to create a self-sustaining small student-led business that they can pass down to future years.

We have a remarkable group of students from all walks of life. They enjoy learning together and really embrace our family mentality at our school. Thank you for consideration of their project.
