My fourth and fifth grade students attend a high performing school, which is located in a lower-socioeconomic area, and very proud of the National Blue Ribbon and California Distinguished School awards we've received. Our school is ethnically diverse with students speaking languages such as English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, and Bengali.
My students are leaders in the making and interested in creating a difference in the world!
They are a part of a tight-knit community that supports education. They always strive to do their best and deserve the best!
My Project
My students and I are kindly requesting two laptops to add to our classroom. They are extremely talented when using technology to support their learning needs.
The students will begin working on their independent projects centered around our science and history standards for each grade level.
They will pick a topic of interest to them and research the information using different internet sites. This information will be presented to the class using the PowerPoint or Google Slide program, as well as publishing a report using a word processing program.
Your donation will mean a great deal to our class to help further our learning needs for this school year.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
