This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a wonderful group of third graders. They come to school ready and eager to learn; however, we are Title I school and have a high population of low socioeconomic families, some of whom are living at or near the poverty level. Yet, our families love and care very much for their children and want the best education for them. Our students deserve to have every opportunity to be academically successful. This is why I am requesting an updated laptop for my third grade level. All third grade students will benefit with this set of new grade level books

My Project

My students need an updated laptop to complete their science research reports. Currently, my students are sharing laptops. We have a few outdated laptops that are slow and just old.

If my project gets funded, my students can use the updated laptop to research animals, plant and animal cells and create slides for their presentation.

My students enjoy science. They will learn how to create slides and insert pictures and so much more. They can get their information faster on a newer laptop, helping them to complete assignments faster. Thank you in advance for your generous donation to my project.
