My Students
Information, information everywhere and not a enough computers to access it. There are so many resources available for the students to tap into, but we are so limited with our technology that the students rarely get a chance to access it.
Our school is smack dab in the middle of military housing.
All of our students are military dependents. But even with the challenges they face every day, they come to school every morning eager to learn and share their experiences with me. My kindergarten class is full of energy, excitement, curiosity and an eagerness to learn in many different ways.
My Project
With so many web sites and programs available these days, it would be wonderful if my students had the ability to access them on a regular basis. There are language arts and math programs that enrich their learning, teach them practical skills and strengthen their computer skills. I would like my students to be able to benefit from these programs on a regular basis.
Right now my students have access to many wonderful programs available on the computer.
But the amount of time each week is limited. With an additional computer in the room, we can increase that computer time and really start to see a difference in their learning. Please help us make this happen.
