This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My 5th-grade special education class is truly the most determined group of students I have ever met. All of my students have learning disabilities that cause them to struggle with reading, writing, and math. Despite their disabilities, they are motivated to succeed.
I am constantly inspired by my students' desire to learn.
Most of my students struggle to focus throughout the day. Using engaging tools and lessons is essential for success. It is important that every lesson I teach reaches all different types of learners.
My Project
The students at our school deserve a quality education that includes engaging lessons, hands-on resources and current technology.
Please help give my classroom a new laptop that I can connect to the smart board.
In my class, students are able to engage with each lesson by interacting with the smart board. Currently, we are working with a broken computer. Using a new laptop, students will once again be able to engage in the learning process. The laptop will also be used for planning lessons, small group work and 1:1 instruction. Thank you!
