A laptop enables students and teachers to access videos, websites, education-oriented games, and other tools to aid their learning and assessment of growth.
As a classroom teacher, I plan to use this MacBook Air to implement a more innovative instructional approach that adds fun and keeps students engaged while also documenting children's achievements and moments of growth.
A working laptop in my classroom will enhance collaboration, language and learning amongst my students. It is so important for children to have access to technology and instruction to go with it to create safe and equitable learning opportunities for everyone.
Students will listen to ebooks, learn through vetted educational games, and watch high quality videos that will allow them to "visit" new places and "see" new animals and people. We can have visitors "ZOOM" in to be interviewed during various units. They can help design print and plans for our interactive centers like dramatic play and blocks.
Lastly, as so much high quality curriculum is digital, it will be easier to access the links and document the growth with a high quality and working laptop.
