My Students

The Covid 19 pandemic has created a dire need for students to have technology to participate in distance learning. My students are from Baltimore inner city and many lack adequate supplies due to the strains the Covid-19 pandemic has placed on families. I have had the pleasure of teaching a phenomenal young lady that is about to embark on her college journey. This project will help put a much-needed laptop for her college studies in her hands.

My Project

Never before has one of my graduating classes been effected like the class of 2020. One of my former students that I have watched grow, and continued to mentor has seen her share of challenges and disappointments due to Covid-19 and all the closures and cancellations. I wanted to create this project to create some continued faith for her in her journey to college.

This project will help my student who had to accept so much disappointment due to the impact of Covid-19 on the graduating class of 2020.

She didn't allow it to deter her dreams. It's nothing like the excitement a student feels when they get their acceptance letter to college, and now with the help of this project, I want to give my student a real chance at success with a laptop to use to be successful.
