Please help me purchase a new MacBook Pro laptop to use for book checkouts and instruction with my students in the Library Media Center at KAHS.
KAHS students are a unique group of students; they expect the best from their teachers, and they deserve the best we have to give.
Yet, with six weeks left in the school year, my laptop died. It was old, so repairing it would be pointless. Yet, I still have media literacy lessons to teach, assessments to give, and reports to run.
Because I spend almost 80% of my time on a computer and online, I need a lightweight, reliable laptop to work so that I can serve my students efficiently.
Also, a new laptop means I can continue to be mobile on the library floor, from the circulation desk to student tables.
This new Macbook will help me serve my students for the rest of this school year and beyond.
