My Project
Our class will benefit from an organized and designated space to charge laptops. The charging stations will grant students access to independently grab their laptops during small groups.
Once they're done with their small group activity, they will return their laptops to the laptop station to charge them.
Our district has adopted a new reading and writing program and much of what the students are learning is done through technology. Having to go through hoops to get the iPads wastes a lot of time for students. It would be nice to have these materials more accessible.
This station will also help with organization. As of now, over 12 cables are going across the bookshelf. I believe this charging station can help manage the cables by hiding them and avoid entanglement. We want to promote independence as much as possible.
