My Students
We are a Staten Island elementary school servicing a multicultural population of students from varying socioeconomic backgrounds. Music and the arts has been a powerful unifier in our school.

My students are eager to participate in the arts, and that is a big focus in our building. Our children demonstrate all kinds of talents beyond their academics, and we try our best to offer as many extracurricular activities as part of a well-rounded education.
My Project
Our students require a new laptop for their music instruction. We have been using an antiquated laptop to create and exhibit video projects. Unfortunately, the laptop keeps glitching and shutting down, leaving us frustrated and unable to edit and share our projects successfully.
A new Acer Predator laptop would enable our students to work more effectively and allow them the opportunity to edit videos without the machine freezing and adding more time to an already timely process.
We will also be using the laptop as a teaching tool in their music classroom. Students will have their lessons enhanced with a laptop at their disposal for additional research and more.
