My students are an energetic bunch of kiddos who really enjoy a change of scenery while completing their work. They appreciate the opportunity to get up and move around to different areas in the classroom. It has been a struggle to allow this to happen with COVID restrictions, however, these lap desks can be used outdoors as well to allow for a much-needed mask break.
My Project
Please help my students get up and moving around the classroom. With quarantine, most students have been stuck in their desks with masks on their faces and not being able to move about the classroom. With these lap desks, students will have the opportunity to take their learning not only to different areas in the classroom but also outdoors when the weather permits to get some work done and take that ever so needed mask break!
Students will also be able to use these desks for our science experiments that require outdoor participation.
