This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The supplies requested in this project will help improve my students' foundational language skills. The Osmo, Tenzi, Spot it!, play doh, and LEGO sets can be used to increase prepositional knowledge, social interactions, and vocabulary. Play therapy has been proven to be most effective for students to generalize information into real-life situations.
My key focus is to help my students create a foundation in vocabulary so they can expand sentence length and create a better understanding in the general education setting.
My students have grown so much and adding these new materials into the classroom will allow for continuous progress.
