Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Preschool for all Learners (PAL), is a classroom that serves students with special needs. My class consists of 10 unique preschool students with different needs.
They are energetic, curious, eager to explore, and most of all caring.
My students are always looking for ways to show their creativity in everything they do. They care for one another and are always helping each other.
They are always excited to share what they have created with their fellow classmates as well as their teachers.
My Project
My students are 3-4-year-olds and are developing language skills. The felt stories and puppets will provide them the opportunity to engage in language activities in a fun way. Pete the Cat is one of their favorites!
The materials in this project will provide my students the opportunity to increase their language and literacy skills.
My students enjoy storytime and the felt stories will engage them even more as they will interact with the felt story pieces. They will use the felt story pieces on their own providing them the opportunity to develop language skills.
