Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school was built in 1950 and has had minimal interior upgrades since then. I believe that all students should have an aesthetically pleasing place to learn. Having a clean new rug will help me provide a engaging space for us to focus on phonics, asking curious questions, searching in books to find answers, reading captivating stories, visually graphing our ideas, listening and speaking to each other, and learning how to publish or present our ideas.

I love that my students work together as a learning community.

Funding this project will provide a beautiful community gathering space where my students will daily practice all the skills noted above as well as strengthen our social-emotional bonds and share lots of laughs.
